On February 16, 2022, the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) was renamed to the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program. The Government of Alberta also launched two new immigration streams – the Rural Renewal Stream and the Rural Entrepreneur Stream.

The program and stream names will be updated in this portal in the coming weeks.
Applications, Expressions of Interests (EOIs) and requests submitted under the old program and stream names will continue to reflect the old names.
With Alberta Advantage Immigration Program Portal, an eligible candidate is able to apply to Alberta Advantage Immigration Program online, review status and update information for their online application.
Please note the portal is only available to the Candidate of the application.

To access the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program Portal, you will be using a system known as MyAlberta Digital ID.
Individuals can use the MyAlberta Digital ID systems to identify themselves to the provincial government. The accounts created in these systems provides Individuals with their own unique online identity. It is free to create and gives you access to many different online government programs and services from different departments.
