IMPORTANT: AAIP worker stream application cancellation – November 15-16, 2022
To support the move to National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021, AAIP cancelled all applications with an unpaid application fee and that had not been submitted to the AAIP as of November 15, 2022 at 4:00 PM (Mountain Standard Time). Applications were cancelled for the following streams: Alberta Opportunity Stream, Rural Renewal Stream and Alberta Express Entry Stream, including the Accelerated Tech Pathway. You must create a new application to be considered by the AAIP. Instructions for completing a new application is available on the AAIP updates page at Alberta.ca/aaip-updates.aspx.

General program updates
On February 16, 2022, the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) was renamed to the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program and several stream names changed. Applications, Expressions of Interests (EOIs) and requests submitted under the old program and stream names reflect the old names.
With Alberta Advantage Immigration Program Portal, an eligible candidate is able to apply to Alberta Advantage Immigration Program online, review status and update information for their online application.
Please note the portal is only available to the Candidate of the application.

To access the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program Portal, you will be using a system known as MyAlberta Digital ID.
Individuals can use the MyAlberta Digital ID systems to identify themselves to the provincial government. The accounts created in these systems provides Individuals with their own unique online identity. It is free to create and gives you access to many different online government programs and services from different departments.
